Mickey was surprised when he opened the crayon box to start drawing.
「ばぶばぶ、わーい。」
"Bub bub, yay!"
クレヨンの あかちゃんが、とびだしてきて、
The crayon babies popped out,
「おえかき ばぶばぶ。」
"Drawing, bub bub"
「ばぶばぶ ばぶ。」
"Bub bub, bub"
かわいい いえが、かけました。

「じょうずだね。」
"You're so good at it!"
ミッキーが ほめたら、あかちゃんたちは、
When Mickey praised them, the babies wanted to draw even more,
「もっと おえかき、ばぶばぶ もっと。」

つくえの うえから ゆかや かべ、かってに おえかき、ぐるぐる ぐる。
Drawing all over the desk, floor, and walls without permission, going round and round.
ミッキーが、あわてて とめても、
Even when Mickey hurried to stop them, the babies said,
「ばぶばぶ、たのしいな。」
"This is fun!"
あかちゃんたちは、いう ことを ききません。
They wouldn't listen.
そこへ、ミニーが きました。
Then Minnie came.
「まあ、たいへん。わたしに まかせてね。」
"Oh my, this is terrible. Leave it to me."
ミニーは、クレヨンの あかちゃんたちに、
Minnie asked the crayon babies,
「はーい、みんな いいですか。ここに、ちょっと かいて ほしい ものが あるの。おねがいね。」
"Okay, everyone? There is something that I want you to draw here. Please."
おおきな かみを みせました。
She showed them a big piece of paper.
「すてきな ゆりかご、かいて ほしいの。」
"I want you to draw a lovely cradle."
「ばぶばぶ かんたん、まかせて ばぶばぶ。」
"Bub bub, easy, leave it to me, bub bub."
「まあ、この ゆりかごで おひるね したら、きもち よさそうね。」
"Well, it looks like it would feel nice to take a nap in this cradle."
ミニーが、こもりうたを うたうと、あかちゃんたちは すやすや すや。
When Minnie sang a lullaby, the babies fell asleep peacefully.
ミッキーと ミニーは、そうっと あかちゃんたちを はこに うつすと、にっこり。
Mickey and Minnie gently moved the babies back into the box and smiled.
「おえかき、またね。おやすみなさい。」
"See you later with drawing, good night."
