At my school, there is a big playground.
大きな木があります。
There is a large tree.
てつぼうが あります。
There are horizontal bars for playing.
ひょうたん池には、ざりがにが います。
In the gourd-shaped pond, there are crayfish.
教室が たくさん あります。
There are many classrooms.
いちばん びっくりするへやは、理科室です。
The most surprising room is the science lab.
がいこつの もけいが あるからです。
That's because there’s a model skeleton!
いろいろな 先生がいます。
There are all kinds of teachers.
めがねをかけた先生、みんなを わらわせる先生。
There’s a teacher who wears glasses, and a teacher who always makes everyone laugh.
校長先生は、いつも にこにこしています。
The principal is always smiling.
二年一組の たんにんは、くぼた先生です。
The homeroom teacher for Class 2-1 is Mr. Kubota.
やさしいけれど、おこると こわい先生です。
He is kind, but when he gets angry, he’s really scary.
わたしが いちばん楽しみなのは、きゅうしょくの時間です。
What I look forward to the most is lunchtime.
すきなこんだては、やきそばです。
My favorite menu item is yakisoba (fried noodles).
やきそばのときは、いつも おかわりを したくなります。
Whenever we have yakisoba, I always want seconds.
音楽室の まどから 山が見えます。
From the music room window, you can see the mountains.
家もビルも 小さく見えます。
The houses and buildings look tiny.
