車 SORAIRO NO JITENSHA

(The Sky-Blue Bicycle)

キーッ、ン。

Screech! Crash!

かんたが おぼえは、す。

That’s the only sound Kanta remembers.

かんたは、て、大けがた。

Kanta was hit by a car and was seriously injured.

よこら とつぜんた を、よが す。

The car suddenly came out from a side street, and he couldn’t avoid it.

かんた大すな は、が まがた。

His favorite sky-blue bicycle had its handlebars bent out of shape.

びょういんに はこた かんたは、いのちが あぶす。

Kanta was rushed to the hospital, and his life was in danger.

The surgery took many hours.

Even after the surgery was over, Kanta remained unconscious.
