(How to Make a Toy Horse)
みの回りにある、食べものや おかしの 空きばこを つかうと、いろいろな おもちゃを 作ることができます。
Using empty boxes from food or snacks, you can create a variety of toys!
ここでは、すこしの しかけで、楽しい うごきをする、馬のおもちゃの 作り方を せつめいします。
Here, we’ll explain how to make a fun, movable toy horse with just a little effort.
＜ざいりょうとどうぐ＞
(Materials and Tools)
- 空きばこ 一つ （下の図ぐらいの 大きさのもの）
- 色画用紙
- ものさし
- はさみ
- ホッチキス
- のり
- One empty box (about the size shown in the diagram)
- Colored paper
- Ruler
- Scissors
- Stapler
- Glue
＜作り方＞
(How to Make It)
まず、馬の体や あしになる ぶひんを 作ります。
Prepare the parts for the Horse's body and legs.
空きばこから、四センチメートルずつ 四つ切り出しましょう。
Cut the empty box into four pieces, each 4 cm wide.
そのうちの 三つが、馬の体に なります。
Three of these pieces will become the horse’s body.
のこった 一つは、半分に 切り分けましょう。これは、馬の あしに なります。
Take the remaining piece and cut it in half—these will become the horse’s legs.
つぎに、馬の体を 作ります。
Then, create the horse's body.
体の ぶひんの うちの 一つを よこむきに おきます。これが、馬の おなかに なります。
Take one of the body pieces and place it horizontally—this will be the horse’s belly.
もう一つを たてにして、はしを 合わせて おなかの 上に おきます。これが、馬の首に なります。
Take another piece and place it vertically on top of the belly, aligning the edges—this will be the horse’s neck.
おなかと 首が かさなったところを ホチキスで とめます。
Staple where the belly and neck overlap to secure them.
のこった もう一つは、よこにして おなかの 上におきます。これが、馬の せなかに なります。
Place the last piece horizontally on top of the belly and neck—this will be the horse’s back.
せなかは、おなかと 首に、ホチキスで とめます。
Staple the back to the belly and neck.
これで、馬の体が できました。
Now the horse’s body is complete!
それから、馬の あしを 作ります。
Then, make the horse's legs.
一つの あしの ぶひんから、十二センチメートルの 細長い 四角形を 二つ 切り出します。
From one leg piece, cut two long, narrow rectangles, each 12 cm long.
四つできたら、それぞれ かたほうの はしを 二センチメートル おりまげます。
Repeat for the other leg piece, making four legs in total. fold one end to each leg piece about 2cm.
その後、しゃしんの ように、おりまげた ところを おなかに とめます。
Attach the folded ends to the belly as shown in the diagram.
さいごに 顔を作ります。
Lastly, create the horse's face.
色画用紙を、たて九センチメートル、よこ四センチメートルの 形に切ります。
Cut the colored paper into a rectangle measuring 9 cm by 4 cm.
目や はなを つけたら、首の上に はり、耳をつけます。
Add eyes and a nose, then glue it onto the top of the neck. Attach ears to complete the face.
これで、馬のおもちゃの できあがりです。
Your toy horse is now finished!
たてがみや しっぽを つけたり、すきな色の 画用紙を はったりしても いいですね。
You can add a mane and tail or decorate the horse with your favorite colored paper.
＜楽しみ方＞
(How to Play)
おなかをもち、せなかを おしたり ひいたり すると、首が 大きく うごきます。
Hold the horse by its belly and push or pull its back. The neck will move dramatically!
この うごき方を いかして、ほかの どうぶつを 作って みてもいいですね。
You can use this same method to create other animals, too.
