よ YAMENASAIYO

(Stop That)

It happened when we were going home from school.

Kenji, who’s in the same class as me, was playing around with someone’s shoes by the shoe cubbies.

I thought, “Whose shoes are those?”

Just then, Hitoshi came over.

He was looking for his own shoes, which were supposed to be in the cubby, but it seemed like he couldn’t find them.

“My shoes are gone.”

When Kenji heard that, he threw the shoes outside.

“Ah! My shoes! Why would you throw them?”

Hitoshi started to cry.

I hurried to pick up the shoes and handed them to him. Then, Kenji glared at me.

Then, Kenji glared at me.

My heart started pounding, but I took a deep breath and said to him:

“Stop that. You shouldn’t throw your friend’s shoes.”

Kenji looked at me with a surprised expression.

The end.
